It's been one year since a Grand Ledge boy died after getting hit by a car. On October 31, the friends and family of Malachi Chance honored his memory by giving back.
Hundreds of toys were dropped off at the Sparrow Hospital Pediatric Center in Malachi's name. His parents say Sparrow took good care of their son and they want other kids to enjoy the toys, while they get the same quality care.
The toys will be used in a pediatric playroom and will also be taken to kids who are bedridden.
