Uncle John's Cider Mill to hold Wassail ceremony

Uncle John’s Cider Mill, will be hosting a Wassail ceremony on January 21, 2017. The ceremony with start at 3:00 P.M. and go until 8:00 P.M. Guest are encouraged to bundle up and come bless the orchard. Tickets are $20 in advance, which can be purchased by clicking hereor $30 at the door.

Join everyone at Uncle John’s Cider Mill while we bless the orchards. This is a historical event that dates all the way back to the 1500s. Wassail is a drink of mulled cider, traditionally drunk as an integral part of wassailing. A Wassail is said to "bless" the trees to produce a fruitful crop in the forthcoming season. Come Wassail with us!
Festival food will be provided by Slows Bar BQ – Grand Rapids.

Other amenities at the ceremony, such as:
• Uncle John’s Tasting Room Open with Hard Cider Specials
• DJ Spinning Vinyl 4-8 pm
• Bonfire at dark
• Fireworks & Blessing of the orchard 6 pm (or dark)
