An individual who suffered the loss of their husband penned a letter to Sheriff Scott Wriggelsworth thanking the Ingham County Sheriff's Office for the kindness they showed during a difficult time.

Dear Sheriff Scott,

My husband passed away at home Good Friday morning, April 14. We would like to thank the Ingham County Sheriff's Office for the kind, compassionate officers who came to our home.

Officer Cory Daga STOOD in our home for two hours until the funeral home could respond. He showed every family member deep compassion, love, and respect, I will never forget the true kindness and empathy his eyes reflected. He left his card with me and said, "if I can do anything else for you, please call me."

I think the people of Holt are very fortunate to have these officers. I feel for them, every door they walk through, they have no idea what they are walking into.

I would like to reverse the offer I was made. If I can ever do anything for your office or officers, please call me.
