2.3 million meals were served to those in need, thanks to this year's Michigan Harvest Gathering campaign.
The annual food drive was started by Michigan attorney general Bill Schuette and the food bank council of Michigan.
Over the past six weeks--- the campaign has raised 320-thousand dollars and nearly 800-thousand pounds of food.
Secretary of state offices are still taking food donations through November 22.
