Halloween is creeping up on us and the Harris Nature Center is kicking off their festivities early. On Saturday they're hosting Halloween events for the whole family. You can decorate pumpkins, listen to stories, roast marshmallows, around the campfire and even enjoy a hayride through the woods while playing trivia. Admission is 8 dollars per child and the event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

On Sunday you can head to the Lansing Center for the Antiquarian Book and Paper Show. There will be about 70 exhibitors at the event with rare and collectable book and paper items for sale. This is the largest event of its kind in the Midwest and it will take place from 9:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. Admission is 5 dollars for adults, and free for children 13 and under.
