Rivalry Week is here and Michigan State students are on Sparty Watch.

This tradition takes place every fall as students stand guard to defend the campus' Spartan statue from their rivals in maize and blue.

MSU takes on the University of Michigan this Saturday at 12 p.m. in East Lansing.

Michigan fans have successfully vandalized the Sparty statue with spray paint in the past.

All students, fan and alumnae are welcome to attend.

This year's event includes movie showings, games and prizes, and even a Glow Green dance party.
