Taste of Fall: Panera Bread's Autumn Squash Soup

When it comes to fall, there's nothing better than the taste, smell, and sight of beautiful pumpkins and squash. Whether a part of decorations or a delicious meal, I can't get enough of them.

Which is why I've become slightly obsessed with the new Autumn Squash Soup from Panera Bread

I could try to describe it, but I'll let the experts do the talking:

A blend of butternut squash and pumpkin, simmered in vegetable broth with honey, apple juice, cinnamon and a hint of curry, then finished with sweet cream and topped with roasted and salted pumpkin seeds.

Heavenly! The soup is vegetarian for those who don't eat meat, and an entire bowl is only 330 calories - pretty reasonable for such a creamy, delicious soup! Paired with Panera's signature baguette slice, it makes for a wonderful lunch.

Unlike some of their soups, which rotate depending on the day, the Autumn Squash soup is available daily this season.

Although it's sad to say goodbye to summer, this warm fall welcome in soup form eases the transition quite a bit!
