East Lansing Farmers Market Celebrates Annual Autumn Festival
The East Lansing Farmers Market celebrated fall Sunday with it's annual Autumn Festival.
The event featured autumn-inspired produce and goods, and was sponsored by the Community Relations Coalition. The CRC created a children's activity area for pumpkin carving and other fun activities.
We caught up with an organizer who told us how important these community events are for East Lansing and Michigan State students.
"It's the only way for us as students to meet all the families and for them to meet us as well. And we want to tell them that we do care and we do want to get them known and let them know were apart of their neighborhood as well."
The East Lansing Farmers Market season will end October 28, so you only have a few more Sundays left to get your fresh produce and local goods.
