Job Title: Morning Show TV Producer / Technical Director

Department: Production

Status: Part-Time, Non-Exempt

Reports To: Marketing & Promotions Manager

Supervises: None


Position Summary: Technical Director and Content Producer for FOX 47's morning television
show, “Michigan’s Big Show” – in the downtown Lansing studios. Duties to include acting as technical director for a two-hour live program, show pre-production of stills, video and graphics for daily guests and features, working in coordination with other directors and producers to provide video content in real time for live programming, video editing of b-roll as well as producing of daily topical promos. Additional work will be done at the FOX 47 studios in commercial and promotion production.

Education: Required: High School Diploma - Preferred: Some College and Computer Training

Experience: Preferred: 1+ years of video production editing / videotaping.

Skills: Preferred: Candidate should possess previous experience in basic switcher operation,
non-linear video editing and working knowledge of Photoshop.

Hours: Position is part-time up to 25 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 5am-10am.
