This weekend marked the 15th annual Ford Arts, Beats and Eats Festival in Royal Oak, a summer festival celebrating art, music, cuisine and humanity which was held August 31-September 3rd, 2012.

On Saturday, the Priority Health Zumbathon® Celebration transformed the stage into a red-hot, exhilarating dance fitness explosion from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.   This year, over 1,000 Zumba® enthusiasts participated in the event to raise funds for the Karmanos Cancer Institute.  The Zumbathon® featured many Zumba® instructors from across the state of Michigan.

A group of local instructors and students made the trek to Royal Oak to participate in the fundraiser for breast cancer.  The Capitol Area Rockstars, picked their name to represent Lansing and the surrounding communities.
