  • Fenner Nature Center announces upcoming program that will introduce artists of all ages and abilities to a myriad of techniques and tools to create nature-inspired art projects.

  • Families are encouraged to participate together, and examples of projects include using gathered and dried materials to make oil paints and creating brushes and tools from natural objects.

Fenner Nature Center has teamed up with Hayes Green Beach Memorial Hospital to offer a unique nature-art workshop for individuals and families at their new outpatient wellness center in Charlotte on Novembet 16th from 10AM-Noon.

AL!VE is an 80,000 square foot facility that is a unique destination for creative well-being. Services offered at Al!VE range from physical therapy, women’s health, spa services, healthy cooking classes, and more. The “Art of Nature” workshop being led by naturalist from Fenner Nature Center at this facility is another opportunity for visitors of AL!VE to experience health and well-being while being creative and inspired by nature.

Artists of all ages and abilities will be introduced to a myriad of techniques and tools to create nature-inspired art projects. Examples of projects include using gathered and dried materials to make oil paints and creating brushes and tools from natural objects. All materials are provided and families are encouraged to participate together.

Tickets are $10 per individual or $25 per family.
