A mural has been created to welcome visitors to the new Broad Art Museum and downtown East Lansing.

Tony Hendrick made the 52x7-foot public art piece, called "Michigan Passageway."

It's in the south stairwell of the parking garage on Division and Albert.

Hendrick has been recognized both nationally and globally for his murals. Guiness World Records gave him an award for the "World's Largest Indoor Mural" at the Air Zoo in Kalamazoo.
