Get to know a little bit more about Bob:
What are some of your must-haves?: The first thing that comes to mind is friendliness, positiveness. Enjoying life.
What do you need to get through the day?: Coffee, and fun, interesting people.
How do you take your 'morning blend'?: A little dash of cream, and sometimes sugar depending on my mood. Sometimes I like it sweet, sometimes I don't.
Where's the best coffee in town?: Biggby!
What are your favorite spots in the Lansing area?: The River Trail, downtown Lansing, and being outside in the great parks that we have. I love being outdoors.
What are your favorite ways to unwind? Going for a walk, listening to music, going to Wharton Center. Even though it's my work, but sitting in a performance and escaping to somewhere else is a big one for me. And the hot tub.
What's something that people don't really know about you?: That I'm actually shy. I know people wouldn't think that. If I'm working I'm not, but if I'm not working, I'm more reserved.
Favorite events or activities in the Lansing area?: Wharton Center performances. All over there's theater and things going on. We're so fortunate in Lansing. I travel a lot, so I get to see that we're very lucky to live here. I love our community, especially with ePIFany Now, I don't think that would happen anywhere else.
What can viewers expect from 'Morning Blend'?: I love Cheryl. Cheryl and I have a lot of fun. We're the dynamic duo! We're fun, we're conversational, easy to talk with. If I have a question, Cheryl has a question. We feed off each other really well. People will see that we're interesting because we listen to what people have to say. I think that everyone has a story, so what Cheryl and I do is help you tell your story.
Cheryl Fritze is a part of our dynamic hosting duo of "Morning Blend."
Get to know more about Cheryl:
How do you take your 'morning blend'?: I drink coffee straight black. No frou frou drinks for me. Not even flavored coffee. Just straight, tall coffee.
Where's the best coffee in town?: I vary between Biggby and Tim Horton's. Biggby because they're neighbors.
What are things that you can't live without?: Family, friends. That's about it. Everything else I could cut out and it would be just fine.
What are some of your favorite spots in the Lansing area?: I do love Studio C! for a movie. I love getting comfy there. I do love Copper for a bite to eat. I love Troppo for a cocktail. I love Total Firearms for the shooting range. And Wharton Center for culture.
What's something most people don't know about you?: My life has always been an open book. The shooting thing might be a surprise to some folks. A couple years ago I got a concealed pistol license, I enjoy going to a range and shooting, and I carry all the time. It seems to be an interesting topic of conversation when it comes up.
What's your favorite activity or event that goes on in the Lansing area?: There's a lot of them. I do enjoy Bob's ePIFany Now events, just because it's to put good out into the community. I enjoy Tourist in Your Own Town. I enjoy any activities that bring people together, like Silver Bells in the City. Any event that brings the community together.
What can viewers expect from "Morning Blend"?: I think they can expect fun, information, and to get to know the both of us a lot better. We both shoot from the hip, no pun intended. The audience can look in in the mornings and find a nice way to wake up in the morning.
