Tigers rightfielder J.D. Martinez will be activated from the disabled list before Detroit faces the White Sox Wednesday night.
Martinez has had two minor league starts with Toledo at rightfielder. He was placed on the disabled list after suffering an elbow injury on June 17 against the Royals.
Pitcher Jordan Zimmermann could also be back from injury soon. He's scheduled to start Thursday.
