When the Detroit Pistons beat the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday, OKC was without one of its best players in Kevin Durant.

Durant sat out the game but it was never explained why. On Thursday, OKC beat writer Erik Horne posted a photo with a quote from Durant on why.

"I wanted to play against Detroit for sure, you...you know. It's Detroit. You know, who cares about Detroit?" Durant said.

They knew I don't like sitting out, so they came to me and were like, 'Bro, I know you don't want to sit this one out, but I think it would help.' So I was like, 'you don't have to ask me like that. If you want me to sit out, I'll sit out.'" he also said.

Durant also commented on Reggie Jackson's celebration at the end of the game. Jackson was traded to Detroit from OKC this year.

"It was bush league, in my opinion," Durant said. "I know I don't talk like that, but it p---ed me off."
