The Detroit Tigers will be honoring city champion Mike Ilitch when they hit the field this season.
The team revealed a new "Mr. I" patch that the players will be wearing on their jerseys to celebrate his legacy.
Ilitch passed away February 10 at the age of 87.
Earlier this month, the Detroit Red Wings revealed a similar patch for their uniforms.
