Suh Faces $30K Fine for Kick to Groin
The Detroit Lions' notorious defensive tackle won't be suspended for a kick to the groin of Texans' QB Matt Schaub during the Thanksgiving Day game, but he will have to pay up.
Ndamukong Suh faces $30,000 in fines for the kick, which he maintains was not intentional.
“I was being dragged to the ground, and my foot inadvertently hit the man,” Suh said. “But it’s over with, moving forward and getting ready to play the Colts.”
Suspension wasn't in the cards for Suh, because the NFL couldn't tell whether or not the kick was intentional.
According to the Detroit Free Press, Suh has lost over $243,000 in fines and suspensions during his career.
