Magic Johnson was in town yesterday giving away presents to families in need.
His foundation teamed up with the Boys and Girls Club to make sure no family goes without presents under the tree.
Christmas came early for hundreds of kids in Lansing. 220 kids were able to receive food, toys, and a warm coat to get them through the winter.
It was all made possible thanks to Lansing's own Magic Johnson.
"It's so important we're able to touch these great families, but also to send a message to others. It's about giving. It's about helping others," Johnson said.
Helping community children was only the beginning. The foundation donated turkeys, drinks, and warm coats to hundreds of families in need.
