Tom Izzo Teams Up with State Police
MSU and Michigan State Police are teaming up to stop drunk drivers. Men's basketball coach Tom Izzo joined State Police, Ingham County, and Campus Police to hammer home the point about partying during march madness.
Officers will be on the lookout for drunk drivers through the NCAA Tournament, so make sure you have a sober driver if you plan on drinking.
Tom Izzo said: "In my immediate family, I've had no one charged with drunk driving, I've had no one in a serious accident because of drunk driving, but the friends I've lost because of drunk driving are numerous, so it hits home a little differently when you look at it from this side."
Last year, more than 24-hundred drivers in Michigan were arrested for drunk driving during the NCAA Tournament.
