Arlo Guthrie Comes to Wharton Center
Arlo Guthrie is coming to the Wharton Center.
Arlo Guthrie, the eldest son of America's most beloved singer/writer/philosopher Woody Guthrie, performs a night of inspiring music accompanied by heartwarming storytelling. Backed by a band which includes his son Abe on keyboards and grandson Krishna on guitar, Guthrie and his family perform a set that touches all four corners of the fabric of American music, including standards, some of his own songs (along with Steve Goodnman penned "City of New Orleans," which he made famous) and Woody Guthrie's anthem "This Land Is Your Land." This is a unique opportunity to see this legend perform!
