Basketball Stars Take Time Out of Their Day to Read to Kids

Students at Shabazz Academy in Lansing got a special visit Monday.  

A couple of basketball stars were there encouraging kids to pick up a book, including former MSU star Travis Walton, and the current coach of Everett, Desmond Ferguson.

The visit was made possible as part of the "moneyball sportswear reading initiative".
