Speakers Set for MSU Winter Commencement Ceremonies
Michigan State University has confirmed speakers for this year's winter commencement ceremonies, set for December 14-15 at the Breslin Center.
Although he's a Michigan Wolverine, Governor Rick Snyder has been tapped to speak at Saturday's commencement ceremony at 10:00 a.m.
The governor will also receive an honorary doctorate of laws degree.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture secretary Thomas Vilsack will also speak on December 14 at the 3:30 p.m. ceremony, also receiving an honorary doctorate of laws.
Finally, Johnette Cole, director of the Smithsonian National Museum of African Art, will take part in the December 15 ceremony at 2:00 p.m.
