MSU Basketball Preps for Next Challenge
After their 4,000 mile trip to Germany to open the season, the Spartans have flown to Atlanta to play Kansas tonight.
The Spartans will be without point guard Travis Trice, who suffered a concussion in the opener against UConn. But Tom Izzo is looking forward to getting Matt Costello into game, after he had a bruised tailbone prior to their first preseason game.
Despite all of the miles, Izzo says his team will be ready to go:
"As far as how we feel, we feel great. I feel great. we had a couple of practices and we are going to be a little tired, but that was the nature of what we have done. But I don't see it being anything catastrophic like I thought it could be."
