MSU Releases Time Lapse Video of Broad Art Museum Construction
The Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum is set to be dedicated this Saturday, November 10, and opened to the public on November 11 for an open house event from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Construction on the 46,000-square-foot building, designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Zaha Hadid, has wrapped up in anticipated of this weekend's opening events.
The Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum is a contemporary art museum, "dedicated to exploring global contemporary culture and ideas through art." The collection features 7,500 objects.
Michigan State University posted a video today on their YouTube page that shows the construction of the Broad Art Museum in less than a minute, using time-lapse photography.
