The Michigan State Spartans practiced Tuesday, as they prepare to host Northwestern a week from Saturday.
Coach Mark Dantonio admitted on Tuesday that, yes, it's been a disappointing season at 5-5, but his players have to keep moving forward.
"We have to come back and keep working hard and getting better and keep moving onward, because that's what you do. And we'll get better and try to win the games we have left so we have to be fully ready when we play again."
The Spartans' last four games have all been decided in the final ten seconds - unfortunately three of the games resulted in losses.
Nebraska's coach Bo Pelini says his team was able to rally and win in the final seconds Saturday because of the grit of quarterback Taylor Martinez.
Michigan State will have its bye week this weekend, and will host Northwestern on November 18th at home before their final game of the season at Minnesota.
