MSU Homecoming: Sims' Participation Uncertain Following Injury
Dion Sims leads the Spartans in receptions and yard at 24 catches for 313 yards, but an ankle injury during Michigan State's come-from-behind victory over Indiana is still plaguing the junior tight end.
During the Paul W. Smith Show on WJR, Coach Dantonio discussed his injured player and the expectations for this week's Homecoming game against Iowa.
“I don’t know that he’ll make it this week,” Coach Dantonio said of Sims. “But he may make it next week. We’ll have to see how he responds in the next couple days, really.”
Kickoff for Homecoming is at 12:00PM from Spartan Stadium. The Spartans face in-state rival Michigan the following weekend.
