Pedestrian Seriously Injured on Hagadorn Rd.
MERIDIAN TWP - An MSU student is struck by a car while walking along Hagadorn Road early Friday morning.
Meridian Township police say the woman was walking near the intersection of Hagadorn and Mt. Hope Road shortly before 6 o'clock when she was struck by a car traveling about 40 miles-per-hour.
She was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, but was conscious and alert.
Police say the driver had a green light when he drove through the intersection, and the dark conditions would have made the woman difficult to see.
