Notre Dame Stalls MSU Offense, 20-3
Michigan State ended their 15-game home winning streak with a 20-3 loss against Notre Dame Saturday night. The Spartan offense never clicked, with several drives stalling out on third downs and missed opportunities.
The atmosphere at Spartan Stadium for the night game felt like it could be a night reminiscent of the game in 2010 that saw the Spartans winning in overtime with a fake field goal, but the crowd's engagement with the game dwindled with each stalled drive.
