State Fire Marshal Reminds MSU Students about Fire Safety
MSU students are back on campus, which has the state fire marshal reminding students that September and October are the worst months for fire-related emergencies.
A couple of reminders:
Don't use traditional candles. Use battery operated ones instead.
Also, follow school rules when it comes to cooking, and never leave cooking areas unattended.
Finally, make sure you've got a fire extinguisher, and an escape plan just in case.
