MSU Officials Complete Window Inspections Following Incident
MSU says it has taken steps to make sure students are safe, after a teen fell from a sixth story window last spring.
A university spokesperson says a review of all windows at Case Hall was finished in June. Several locks and screens were replaced, but no structural issues were found.
Windows in all residence halls, including stairwells, study lounges, and elevator lobbies are visually inspected once week.
18-year-old Alexandra Pew survived after falling from the sixth-floor study lounge while playing catch last March. The Ann Arbor teen was there visiting friends.
