A Michigan hunter had just snagged a nice 6-point buck up north last week when his trophy was taken away by a bear.

John Wardynski, from Bay City, posted the video of the bear taking the buck away on his Facebook page.

Wardynski was hunting in Alcona County south of Alpena on Nov. 16 when he said he made a clean shot on the buck. That was the second day of firearm hunting season in Michigan.

"I walked down my shooting lane to check the spot where I shot my buck. Turning to see the line of site of my shot, there was a bear standing next to my pop up blind. The bear came down the ridge, then proceeded to parallel me as I walked the blood trail," he wrote on Facebook

Wardynski said he thought it was cool to see the bear until he realized it was headed towards his deer.

"Several times I tried shouting, whistling, breaking bush. She would not leave," he added.

In the video, he is heard yelling, "Go on, get. My deer. Go on. No no no, mine."

Now Wardynski couldn't shoot the bear, and said he didn't know what to do because he's never experienced it in his 50-plus years of hutning.

On the post, he said he would like to recover the antlers but will give the bear space.
