Medical Marijuana Users Are Eligible For Unemployment
On Tuesday, Judge William Collette ruled that medical marijuana users who comply to Michigan's medical marijuana laws can receive unemployment benefits.
Collette overturned a state commision that found Jenine Kemp not eligible for unemployment benefits. Kemp worked at Hayes Green Beach Memorial Hospital and was fired in 2011, she suffers from Lupus and neuropathy.
