Teachers Support Armed Guards in School
A majority of teachers aren't crazy about the idea of carrying guns in schools, but do support having armed guards. That from a new survey of more than 10-thousand teachers who were surveyed, and around one-third felt the schools were vulnerable to gun violence.
Close to 88% support cops on campus. One-third of schools nationwide already have cops on campus at least part of the day. More schools are also locking doors, using surveillance video, and only allowing controlled access. Some teachers even have emergency buttons.
