BLACKMAN TWP - A cash checking business was robbed in Blackman Township Tuesday. The Check into Cash business on the 2100 block of West Michigan Avenue, just west of Jackson, was robbed at 11 o'clock.
A man entered the business, demanded cash from a clerk and left on foot. The clerk did not see a weapon.
The suspect is described as a white male, clean shaven and in his 30s, approximately 5'8"-5'9" and 150lbs. The suspect's clothing was discovered in a trash can in the area.
A police K-9 tracked a short distance away from the business where it was believed he got into a waiting vehicle.
