Update: Police Investigating Murder in South Lansing, Identify Victim
Lansing Police have identified Wednesday morning's murder victim as Timothy Taylor of Lansing. Taylor was 47 years old, and his body was discovered at the Oak Park Village Apartments on Lansing's south side early this morning.
The case is being investigated as a homicide.
The cause of death has still not been released. This marks the third homicide in Lansing of 2013.
Lansing Police tell us they are investigating a murder on the city's south side.
They say it happened at Oak Park Village Apartments on Long Boulevard around 2 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Police say a 47-year-old male is dead and police have two suspects in custody.
Police say an altercation took place and the man was killed.
No word yet on how he died.
