Suspects Arrested for Stealing Catalytic Converters
Two people have been arrested for stealing dozens, if not hundreds, of catalytic converters across the state.
Investigators from the Michigan State Police Southwest Enforcement Team say the suspects were pulling into Park and Rides along Interstate 69, Interstate 94, Interstate 96 and U.S. 131 and sawing off the valuable platinum parts as far back as November.
So far, police have found victims in 10 different counties--- including Jackson, Eaton and Calhoun.
Investigators are hoping someone can place the suspects' van at a Park and Ride between November and January, a bright red "Baggett and Sons Plumbing" van.
If you've seen that van--- or think you may be a victim--- call the Southwest Enforcement Team tip line at 1-877-616-4677.
