17-Year-Old Passenger in Critical Condition Following Crash
A 17-year-old is in critical condition after an accident in Columbia township.
The Jackson County Sheriff's Office says a 16-year-old lost control and hit a tree Sunday on Sandy Beach Drive.
The driver's injuries aren't serious, but his 17-year-old passenger was taken to Motts Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor with a head injury.
Both teens were wearing seat belts. We're told alcohol was not factor.
