Few Problems During Snowy Commute
Drivers seem to be getting into the swing of coping with mid-Michigan's snowy roads.
Dispatchers in Ingham, Jackson, Eaton and Clinton counties report no major accidents during this morning's commute. Dispatchers tell us that there have been some slide-offs, but not many. Roads moved a bit slower than normal.
The most siginficant report was of a semi-tractor trailer that slid off to the side of the road along I-94 near US-127 shortly after 5AM. The highway there was reduced to one lane.
Drivers are still urged to use caution. There are plenty of snowy and icy sections. Road maintenance departments ask drivers to be careful around their plows.
