According to reports, both a 16-year-old girl and her sister were injured when shots were fired at a party on the 1100 block of Maple Street in Lansing, near MLK Jr. Blvd.
The 15-year-old sister was grazed by a bullet, and according to Lansing police officer Robert Merritt was treated and released from a nearby hospital.
The 16-year-old girl was shot in the lower back and is still in the hospital, though in stable condition.
Lansing police were told by the victim that the shooting happened outside a party in Lansing Saturday night following an argument between two groups of people.
The investigation continues, though the shooter has not been arrested or identified at this time.

Neighbor David Cripe says his wife heard multiple gun shots during the night, waking him up to a nightmare outside his front door.
"She said that there's been a shooting so I came out and sure enough, there were kids everywhere crying and screaming. Police were out until 1 or 2 in the morning," said Cripe.
Police have released no new information about the shooting. The condition of the girl is still unknown. She was taken to Sparrow Hospital late Saturday night.
"I hope she is doing all right. They say she got shot in the back," said Cripe.
Sunday morning blood still stained the sidewalk in front of Fearless Faith Community Church, where supposedly the girl had been shot. The congregation was shocked to hear about the violence that had happened outside their front door.
"When I heard it initially I thought 'Oh My God!" said Fearless Faith Pastor Iris Cotton.
Cotton says her congregation might take matters into their own hands trying to crack down on neighborhood crime.
"We are praying for her, her family, and her loved ones. If we need to walk the area, meet people, or go door to door we are willing to do that."
Lansing police say they will likely have more information on Monday and we will continue to follow this story.
