Update: At Least 3 Dead in Massive Fatal Pileup on I-75 Southbound
Multiple news outlets including The Detroit News and the Detroit Free Press are now reporting that three people died in Thursday morning's crash, including two children.
Around 20 others were injured in the pileup.
The Detroit Free Press now reports that there is conflicting information regarding those who were killed in Thursday morning's accidents. Some reports say that three children were killed, and others say that none of the four reported deaths were children.

The Detroit Free Press is reporting that three of the people who died in this morning's fatal car pileup on I-75 southbound were children.
Police are continuing to search vehicles, and say the current number of deaths (four) is tentative for now.
The Detroit News is reporting that a massive pileup accident on I-75 southbound between Springwells and Schaeffer Highway southwest of Detroit occurred during Thursday morning's commute.
The accident reportedly involved several cars and semi-trucks, and reports of at least four people dying have been made.
"Whiteout conditions" during the morning commute may have led to the crash. Detroit firefighters reportedly said the accident was a "mile long."
