Update: Phone Service Restored to Jackson Police Department
Phone service has been restored to the Jackson Police Department.
A "technical problem" had interrupted calls on the main business line into police headquarters for a couple of hours Thursday morning.
The Jackson Police Department is reporting that the main phone line into its headquarters is not working.
The problem is described as "technical issues" and the service provider is working to correct the problem as quickly as possible.
The city's 911 service is not affected.
