City government watchdog leader and longtime activist John Pollard has died from lung cancer.
He was a regular at Lansing City Council meetings, known for speaking during the public comment period, lambasting both the Mayor and City Council. '
He often had stats to back up his allegations of bad deals and decisions by city leaders that would affect Lansing residents.
Pollard was 65.
