Casey Anthony Files for Bankruptcy
Casey Anthony has filed for bankruptcy.
She was acquitted in the murder of her 2-year-old daughter in 2011.
On Friday she filed the paperwork for Chapter Seven Bankruptcy because she owes almost $800,000 in debts, but has less than $1,100 to her name.
Most of that money is owed to Anthony's attorney in her murder case. Anthony is currently a defendant in three civil cases -- but if approved, the bankruptcy would stop all pending lawsuits.
