Jackson Area Soldiers Returning Home Saturday
Dozens of Michigan soldiers are returning home this weekend.
Between 75 and 100 members of the 303rd Military Police Company based out of Jackson are coming home after nearly a year in Afghanistan.
The unit left for Afghanistan last February, the third deployment for the group since the September 11 attacks. The unit was deployed to Iraq in 2006 and Guantanamo Bay in 2002.
The public can help welcome them home. They're expected to arrive at the Army Reserve Center at 1401 West Argyle sometime between 3pm and 4pm Saturday.
