Update: Man Charged for Friday Shooting in Lansing
Andrew Michael-Brian Elliott was arraigned this afternoon on multiple charges connected to a shooting in Lansing Friday.
Elliott was charged on one count of assault with intent to murder, a maximum life felony, and three felony wearpons charges.
The 25-year-old shooting victim is in stable condition in the hospital.
The suspect in a Friday night shooting in Lansing is expected to be arraigned soon on a charge of assault with intent to commit murder.
Police say the 22-year-old Lansing man pulled out a gun and shot the 25-year-old victim after an argument, shortly before 10:00 p.m. on the 500 block of East Edgewood.
Investigators found the victim lying in a parking lot with a gunshot wound to his mid-section.
He was taken to the hospital and is listed in stable condition.
A K-9 team tracked the suspect to an apartment on the 400 block of Edgewood, where he was arrested.
The 22-year-old remains in jail.
