A new plow from MDOT will speed up the snow clearing process.
The transportation department plans on unveiling its new "Tow Plow" a week from today.
It'll be used in Livingston County, along I-96 and U.S. 23, to start.
The Tow Plow is a tandem-style machine that can plow widths of up to 25-feet -- that's two full lanes of traffic in just one pass.
It will also be equipped with a salt hopper and a spreader.
