Update: Woman Stabs Husband in Back
LANSING - A young woman is jailed in Lansing, accused of stabbing her husband in the back.
20-year-old Christian Yvonne Newbern was charged with one felony count of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon in a Lansing courtroom Thursday morning.
Police were called to a home in the 1100 block of Eaton Court in Lansing around 1pm Wednesday afternoon.
They say Newbern stabbed her 19-year-old husband in the upper portion of his back with a kitchen knife during an argument. He was taken to the hospital with a non-life threatening wound.

It happened around 1 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at a home in the 1100 block of Eaton Court in Lansing. Police say the 20-year-old woman stabbed her 19-year-old husband with a kitchen knife during an argument.
He was taken to the hospital with a non-life threatening wound. She was taken to jail, and will be arraigned in court Thursday.
