Woman Killed Walking On U.S. 127
A woman is killed while walking along U.S.-127 in Mason this morning.
It happened just after 12:30 a.m. Wednesday on U.S. 127 southbound near Columbia road.
Mason police tell us the woman was hit by a semi-truck.
They don't know why she was walking on the highway in the first place.
Police tell us they don't believe alcohol was a factor.
No word on whether the truck driver was cited.
The highway is back open after being shut down for several hours.
