From Lansing residents gathering at the Capitol Saturday night to a vigil held in Connecticut Sunday, the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary school shooting were remembered in a series of emotional events over the weekend.
The shootings claimed the lives of 20 school children and six of the teachers at the school. The gunman, Adam Lanza, is also dead.
