One man is dead after a high-speed car chase and shootout in Traverse City.
Cops say it started after a 56-year-old man fled during a traffic stop Monday night. The suspect led cops through two counties, and eventually stopped at the home of his ex-wife.
He got out of his vehicle and confronted authorities with a high-powered rifle. Police shot and killed him. No one else was hurt.
